Ahwatukee Foothills residents with unused or expired prescription drugs can drop them off between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pecos Community Center, 17010 S. 48th St.

Phoenix police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency will be hosting the event, called the National Take Back Initiative, which is aimed at preventing prescription drug abuse.
