A new community has opened in Ahwatukee.

Oasis in the Foothills, on Desert Foothills Parkway near Liberty Lane, is a 22-home gated community built by Divinity Homes, a 50-year-old Ahwatukee-based company that describes its goal as “developing and constructing quality residential properties within the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area.”

Oasis is one of three subdivisions in Phoenix being marketed by Divinity. The others are the 149-home Courtyard at Madison Ranch on around 18th Avenue and Baseline Road and Arcadia Lite at Indian School Road near Camelback Mountain.

All five Oasis models are two-story houses ranging in size from about 1,800 square feet to 2,300 square feet and are priced in the mid-$300,000

Divinity says the individual homes boast “high-end finishes” and “clean contemporary designs.”

Planners who okayed the development in 2014 called the proposed cluster-homes design “unusual for the village” but said it “would provide some additional diversity in housing types.”
