Continuing its series of Brown Bag Talks, Central Arizona College invites the public to the Importance of Understanding Credit on Tuesday, June 12, from noon to 1 p.m. at the institution’s San Tan Center.

Local Desert Schools Credit Union Community Education Officer Sulie Richardson will lead the discussion. She will attempt to give those in attendance a better understanding of the different credit bureaus, how credit affects financial status, and how to build up one’s credit. A question and answer session will follow as well.

This is a free event and is open to the community.

The CAC San Tan Center is located at 2474 E. Hunt Highway, Suite 100, in the San Tan Valley, with the event being held in Room 121.

If you are a caretaker of young children, feel free to bring them with you. The college will provide some crayons and snacks to occupy the children during the presentation.

Attendees may bring their lunch to the event. Complimentary dessert and beverages will be served.

Those wishing to attend the event are asked to RSVP by logging on to www.EventsAtCAC or directly to http://caccredit.eventbrite.com/. For questions, contact Dora Tompkins at (520) 477-3746.
