I just heard the sad news about Dan. I only knew him to say hi but we kept running into each other whether I was out yardsaling or having a yard sale of my own. He was just at my sale a couple of weeks ago....I will miss seeing him.

The article regarding the fatal auto accident involving Dan P. was a shock to many in the community. In the early morning hours, for many years now, we have seen Dan P. out in the streets with the rest the garage sale circuit searching for treasures/bargains. This kind, friendly man will be dearly missed by many of us. He was incredibly intelligent and a great writer. I remember one morning when we asked him what treasure he was searching for and he replied "nothing, I just like to go to garage sales!" We will miss you Dan!!
