Phoenix city services affected by Memorial Day holiday

City of Phoenix offices will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Light rail, buses and Dial-a-Ride will operate on Sunday schedules. Express and RAPID routes will not be operating. Parking in metered spots will be free.

There will be no change in collection schedules for trash. Trash and recycling will be collected as usual for those with Monday collection. The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Garbage/Recycle Transfer Stations will be closed on Monday.

Burton Barr Central Library and all branch libraries usually open on Monday will be closed.

The offices of Ahwatukee Foothills News will also be closed.
