Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man accused of attempted voyeurism at an Ahwatukee Foothills grocery store.

On Wednesday, Sept. 18 around 10:30 a.m. a woman went to use the restroom at Fry’s Grocery Store at 3949 E. Chandler Blvd. The woman noticed a pair of work boots in the stall next to her and became alarmed when she saw a man peek around the corner of the stall, said Sgt. Joel Tranter of the Phoenix Police Department.

When the woman became alarmed, the man ran from the restroom and exited the store.

He was seen leaving in a black sub-compact car that may have been a Honda Fit or Mazda 5. The man may have had a young girl in the car with him, Tranter said.

No injuries were reported.

The man was last seen wearing tan cargo pants, brown work boots and a black Oakland Raiders T-shirt.

Anyone with more information is encouraged to call Silent Witness, at (480) WIT-NESS.
