Billy Walker’s wife and sister found a puppy in the middle of 48th Street about a block north of Baseline Road in the mid-afternoon Saturday, Jan. 25.

No one in the area recognized her. The Walkers kept her overnight and then took her to a no-kill shelter Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA at 25 N. 40th St. in Phoenix.

The dog is a female and is approximately 3 months old. She didn't shed and was very playful, house broken and did not bark a single time she was at the Walkers’ house.

For more information, contact the AAWL, (602) 273-6852.
