Phoenix police investigators are interested in talking with Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington after an alleged domestic violence incident on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they responded to a call of a domestic violence incident around 3:40 p.m. on May 1. It was reported to them that Washington arrived at the home of his daughter’s mother in Ahwatukee Foothills and took their 5-month-old child. When he returned with the child sometime later after a trip to Dairy Queen an argument ensued, according to the police report.

The child’s mother told police that Washington pushed her and threw her to the ground. She had some minor injuries, according to police. When officers arrived Washington had already left the scene. Police said they would like to question Washington in connection with this alleged domestic violence incident.

It was unknown on Thursday if Washington had been located. No arrests were made.
