City of Phoenix offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Here's how city services are affected:

Transit: METRO Light Rail, city buses and Dial-a-Ride will operate on a Sunday service schedule. RAPID/Express and DASH service will not operate.

Solid Waste: There will be no collections Thursday. Thursday collections will move to Friday and Friday collections will move to Saturday.

Transfer Stations: The 27th Avenue and North Gateway stations will be closed.

Libraries: Burton Barr Central Library and all branch libraries will be closed.

Parking meters: They will be free.
