The East Valley Chambers of Commerce (EVCCA) released its 2012 Voters Guide with a message from the business community: permanently raising taxes on Arizona’s families is bad for our local economy.
The Alliance said it believes that accountable, elected officials should appropriate revenues based on current needs of the state.
The EVCCA includes the Apache Junction, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale and Tempe Chambers of Commerce representing more than 5,500 businesses in the East Valley. They join the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in their opposition of the permanent $1 billion per year tax increase.
