Thermal treatment is by far the best treatment, the bugs simply run from chemical treatments. Unfortunately they can and do survive dusting treatments including DE. DE (and other dusting powders) work on insects that groom themselves (ants etc) and bed bugs do not groom themselves. They feed on blood through a tiny tube like structure, a "mouth" if you will, it only comes out to feed and then retracts- there is no grooming post feeding. As far as I know AZEX Thermal Solutions is the only company in Arizone legally compliant to Therma Pure Heat services. You MUST have a license to do this treatment!! I am not a pest control person but am reading about these bugs every single day and trying to gather as much info as I can on them. I found AZEX to have an informative website, not just trying to sell a product--- and I also find MUCH research and information at the University of Kentucky, they seem to be leading research and understanding right now. Education is key I think, and taking as many precautions as we can to keep them from spreading!

I'm the "BedBug Chaser" www.BedBugChaser.com and I get rid of bedbugs, spiders & stink bugs with 100% Chemical FREE safe GREEN electric heat. The US is slowly becoming infested with bedbugs from Maine to California and everywhere in between. As quickly as there is a sighting, there is another company claiming that they have the best solution to eradicate these pests. You have seen the numerous TV and radio ads promoting such things as chemical treatments, freezing solutions, magic heat wands and the list goes on. Chemicals even when applied properly may not eliminate today's super bedbugs 100%.
If you're interested in ridding the world of bedbugs and making some money here's your chance, BedBug Chasers' is going nationwide. Call me personally at 908-510-8110 let's see if you have what it takes to be a "BedBug Chaser

This is neat but if you are like me and do not have access to one of these cute pooches you can get rid of bedbugs by using diatomaceous earth food grade. I got mine online at http://www.gardenharvestsupply.com/ProductCart/pc/Diatomaceous-Earth-Food-Grade-p39.htm
