To ease travel this holiday weekend, the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) and all Valley freeways will be free of new construction-related closures or restrictions. ADOT reminds all motorists to obey posted speed limits and drive safely this Fourth of July weekend. Construction of the HOV-lane project on the Loop 202 will resume next week and work will impact the Loop 202 and the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) as noted:

Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) will be closed between Warner Road and Loop 202 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday evening (July 5) through Friday morning (July 8) for sign installation. Exit at Elliot or Warner roads and use southbound Price Road.

Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) will be closed between Chandler Boulevard and Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday (July 8) to 1 p.m. Saturday (July 9) for sign installation. Take the detour exit at Elliot, Warner or Ray roads and use southbound Price Road.

Westbound Loop 202 between Gilbert and Price Roads closed from 10 p.m. Friday (July 8) through 8 p.m. Sunday (July 10) as crews shift travel lanes to original configuration. Take detour exit Lindsay or Gilbert Road and use westbound Chandler Boulevard. Traffic can re-enter westbound Loop 202 at Price Road.
