Thieves smashed a window at the Muscular Dystrophy Association's regional office in Ahwatukee Foothills recently, making off with a computer.
"We have no idea who might have done it," said Barbara Breen, regional field service coordinator for the charity, which raises money for research.
The computer did not contain any sensitive information, she said.
The break-in happened sometime over the weekend of Nov. 6. Staff discovered the smashed window and missing computer the following Monday morning, and called police.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association offices, 10235 S. 51st St., north of Elliot Road, house the group's administration for Arizona, Nevada and Utah, Breen said.
Muscular dystrophy comprises a group of hereditary diseases characterized by the wasting away of muscles.
