Mountain Pointe students in K.R. Scott’s AP Government class will host a forum on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m. between candidates for Legislative District 18 Senate: Janie Hydrick (Democrat) and John McComish (Republican).
The event will be a Town Hall-style debate. One of the students, Lucas Hunter, will moderate the event and ask the candidates questions submitted by the audience.
The forum is open to the public and will be in the cafeteria at Mountain Pointe High School, 4201 E. Knox Road.
