Gubernatorial candidate Terry Goddard made a campaign stop at Ahwatukee's Pecos Community Center Wednesday to discuss why Arizonans should elect him rather than incumbent Jan Brewer. Three Brewer supporters, including legislative district 20 GOP chairman Anthony Miller, dropped by wearing red Brewer T-shirts to ask pointed questions about Goddard's support for health reform. I don't think that President Obama betrayed Goddard in any way, shape, or form. He had an awful lot on his plate when he took office given the financial crisis, the housing market crashing, high unemployment, the health care crisis, two wars, issues with China, North Korea, Iran, Israel, and Palestine, etc. There just wasn't enough support in Congress to push this through, as well.
With regard to the comments on the jobs illegals supposedly take away from Americans...I would beg to differ. Many whom come here with an honest desire to work and contribute to our society work jobs that Americans would never consider, even being unemployed. I mean I heard people ridiculing the jobs offered to help with the Gulf oil spill because it 'only' paid $11/hr. Well, do you think the jobs that illegal immigrants work pay even that much or for that matter carry benefits packages?
Besides all of that, when I see landscapers, hotel workers, etc. I don't see whites in any of those even given our current economic environment. I am sure, though, that illegal immigration reform will be coming up in the next congressional session.

Goddard says we should keep the workers and oust the criminals when referring to ILLEGAL immigration. Yet he bitches about Brewer not creating any jobs. Get the ILLEGALS out and you will create jobs. NO ILLEGALS, they are taking AMERICAN jobs and sucking up our tax money. Goddard does not get that, he does not have a chance.
