Homeowners in the original section of Ahwatukee Foothills re-elected Chris Gentis to the Ahwatukee Board of Management and elected newcomers Katrina Shawver and Vern Hancock, last month.

The nine-member board then selected Rob Robinson as president, his second time in that position in the 16 years he has served on the board of the homeowners association.

A retired Phoenix police lieutenant, Robinson said his goals are to keep the fees as low as possible, to upgrade the common areas and to work with the city of Phoenix on several projects, including the installation of sidewalks in several areas.

Other officers include vice president Karl Kjellstrom, secretary Dan Smith and treasurer Karin Gray.

Also serving on the board are Richard McKenna and Don Zella.

Robinson said that anyone with questions for the board or concerns can contact the ABM office at (480) 893-3502 or visit www.ahwatukeehoa.com.
