The Phoenix Convention Center is one of the 10 top convention centers in the nation, according to Business Review USA. Phoenix ranks No. 7, ahead of Anaheim, San Francisco and San Diego.
In 2009 the city of Phoenix completed a convention center expansion that tripled its size to allow Phoenix to accommodate more than 80 percent of the conventions in the U.S. Business Review USA highlights the versatility of the Phoenix Convention Center, noting it has hosted everything from national and regional conventions to consumer events and theatrical productions.
Since its expansion, the Phoenix Convention Center has hosted many local events and large galas including this year’s Arizona Centennial Celebration – Fandango.
