City services affected by Presidents Day

City of Phoenix offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18 in observance of the Presidents Day holiday.

Light rail, buses and Dial-a-Ride will operate on Sunday schedules. Express and RAPID will not operate. Parking in metered spots will be free.

There will be no change in collection schedules for trash. Trash and recycling will be collected as usual for those with Monday collection. The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Garbage/Recycle Transfer Stations will be closed on Monday.

All branch libraries usually open on Monday will be closed, including Ahwatukee’s Ironwood Library.

The offices of the Ahwatukee Foothills News will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
