City services affected by Labor Day holiday

City of Phoenix offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Phoenix buses and Dial-a-Ride and light rail will operate on Sunday schedules. Express and RAPID will not operate.

Parking meters will be enforced from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

There will be no change in collection schedules for trash. Trash and recycling will be collected as usual for those with Monday collection. The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Garbage/Recycle Transfer Stations will be closed on Monday.

Burton Barr Central Library and all branch libraries will be closed.

The offices of the Ahwatukee Foothills News will also be closed on Monday.
