As construction of State Route 24 (Gateway Freeway) continues to progress, crews will need to restrict both Ray Road and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) overnight next week. Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:
Ray Road closed between Hawes and Ellsworth roads from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 for temporary concrete barrier installation. DETOUR: Use Pecos Road or Loop 202.
Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) will be closed between Elliot and Power roads from 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31 for removal of an overhead sign and temporary concrete barrier installation. DETOUR: Exit at Elliot Road east to Ellsworth Road, south to Ray Road, west to Power Road or north to access westbound Loop 202.
