The Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Ahwatukee Foothills News, will host a candidates forum in preparation for the Aug. 27 Phoenix City Council election. District 6 City Councilman Sal DiCiccio and Independent Karlene Keogh Parks will be on hand to answer questions and address concerns from the community from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Ahwatukee at the Grace Inn, 10831 S. 51st St.
The purpose of the forum is to give candidates seeking to represent District 6 the opportunity to address a wide range of issues that affect our community’s sustainability and livability. The Ahwatukee community is encouraged to attend. Monday, July 29, is the last day to register to vote in the August 2013 city of Phoenix Council Election.
