North Star Youth Partnership is seeking teens who want to make a difference to participate in Teens Taking Action.

The program provides teens the opportunity to create positive change within their schools and communities through skill-building and leadership training.

Teens are paired with adult mentors to work on community service learning projects tackling important issues including poverty, substance abuse, and teen pregnancy.

The teens may present their completed project to a panel of judges for the opportunity to receive a $1,000 scholarship.

North Star Youth Partnership guides youth to be healthy, self-assured, positive and engaged in their communities through an array of programs that build self-confidence and leadership skills.

Teens Taking Action is a community-based program and all teens are invited to apply.

For more information and to apply, contact Edie Fluker, (602) 230-4916 or efluker@cc-az.org.
