A man was transported to the hospital this morning after his truck crashed into a wall on the Warner-Elliot Loop.

At 8:52 a.m. Phoenix Police received a call about an accident involving a truck going through a wall, said Sgt. Matsko of the Phoenix Police Department.

When officers responded they found a single pick-up truck towing a trailer had crashed through a wall off the Warner-Elliot Loop near Nambe Street.

Firefighters were able to revive the man, who is in his 60s, before transporting him to Chandler Regional Medical Center, said Matsko. The man is in stable condition.

Because the accident was a serious injury accident the Vehicular Crimes Unit was called to investigate the scene. Nambe Street was closed at the Warner-Elliot Loop Thursday morning and Matsko estimates it could remain closed for a few hours.

The only damage was to the truck and the wall, which is HOA property. Matsko said the driver did not appear to be impaired in any way but it was unknown if a medical condition may have caused him to crash. No other vehicles were involved.
