The Arizona Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) is observing the 10th annual National Preparedness Month this month by spreading the message to be prepared.

ADEM is home to the Arizona Emergency Information Network, also known as AzEIN, which is the state’s emergency bulletin website. It is a one-stop shop for all-hazard emergency preparedness information, like how to create a “go-bag” and what to do in the event of a disaster.

AzEIN is at www.AzEIN.gov and also broadcasts bulletins and information around the clock on Twitter (www.twitter.com/AzEIN) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/ArizEIN).

Additionally, ADEM is repeating its popular Emergency Kit Cook-off (www.EmergencyKitCookOff.org) in which the public votes for and then uses nonperishable ingredients they might have stored in an emergency kit to create simple but creative recipes.
