The Foothills Women’s Club is putting together a vendor night to show off the diversity of the businesses and people that can be found in Ahwatukee Foothills.
This is the second year the group has put on a vendor night.
“Last year, as president, I realized we had so many members that had their own companies,” said Donna Leeds, president of Foothills Women’s Club. “I’m always looking for new activities and new ideas for the ladies. We talked among us and decided to get together and share what we have.”
The event is open to the public and allows members and non-members to discover what members of the community do for a living. Leeds said they have many members who sell jewelry, clothing or boutique items, and they will all have items for sale. There will also be massage therapists, insurance agents, financial advisors, personal trainers and designers on hand to talk about their work and products. Leeds expects at least 30 vendors.
The event will be at Foothills Golf Club, 2201 E. Clubhouse Drive, on April 10 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Vendors are still welcome to sign up for the event. The club is charging $30 per vendor. All proceeds go to the club’s two charities they support: Gabriel’s Angels and Helen’s Hope Chest.
“Ahwatukee is so unique,” Leeds said. “So many people come here from all over to join this community. This is a chance to mingle, be social, benefit charity, and also learn what’s going on in Ahwatukee.”
