Michael Pollack will be honored at the 12th Annual Evening of Goodwill on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Over the years, Goodwill of Central Arizona says Pollack has generously donated close to $1 million dollars, between his cash donations, discounted/free rent and other in-kind contributions. The biggest contribution came in 2010 when Pollack wrote Goodwill of Central Arizona a $250,000 check, the organization’s largest cash donation to date.
Over the years the giving not only comes in the form of monetary donations, Pollack has re-developed in-fill space that now houses Goodwill stores. Pollack Investments also uses Goodwill’s commercial services, like parking lot sweeping for about 60 shopping centers.
Last fall, Goodwill honored Pollack with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 12th Annual Evening of Goodwill event on Saturday will be at Mummy Mountain at Camelback Inn, 5402 E. Lincoln Drive, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. All proceeds benefit Goodwill’s mission to put people to work.
