Dave Cutty, the outgoing president/CEO of The Centers for Habilitation (TCH), has received the President’s Award from the National Council of Work Centers and NISH.

Cutty, who recently retired from TCH after 40 years of service, is the first nonprofit executive to ever win the award.

“This speaks volumes of the impact Dave has had in the disability community over his 40 years of service” said newly appointed CEO Vicki Kringen.

Cutty received the award earlier this month at the conference, which attracted 400 professionals who provide jobs for people with disabilities. Cutty made the keynote address speaking on the importance of providing jobs for all levels of abilities for anyone who wants to earn a paycheck.

He will be entering into a new position as executive director of The Cutty Legacy Foundation to help the foundation focus on strategy and growth.
