Vestar, a privately held real estate company in the western United States that develops and manages retail and entertainment destinations of varying size and scale that serve as community focal points, announced a promotion and new hire to the company.

Holly Brown was recently promoted to director of marketing of Tempe Marketplace after serving as marketing manager the past couple years at Vestar’s Desert Ridge Marketplace. In this role, Brown will oversee the marketing functions for Vestar’s premiere lifestyle and entertainment shopping center, Tempe Marketplace. Prior to joining Vestar, Brown obtained events and marketing experience through her work with PF Chang’s Rock and Roll Marathon, Tempe Music Festival, Tempe Art Festival, Edge Fest and Super Bowl events. She earned her degree in recreation and tourism management from Arizona State University West.

Lauren Hopper joined Vestar as marketing coordinator and will be responsible for the marketing functions for Vestar’s Arizona Power Centers including Crossroads Towne Center, Queen Creek Marketplace, Lake Pleasant Towne Center, Oro Valley Marketplace, Happy Valley Towne Center, Canyon Trails Towne Center, Mesa Grand, Las Tiendas Village, Sundance Towne Center and Gilbert Gateway Towne Center. Hopper came from the Phoenix Suns where she worked as sales coordinator, prior to joining Vestar. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in marketing from Arizona State University.
