The Arizona Regional Extension Center (REC) announced that they have selected iSALUS Healthcare, a privately held electronic medical and health records (EMR-EHR) and Practice Management solution provider, as a preferred EMR software partner.

The REC is a collaborative program of Arizona Health e-Connection, Health Services Advisory Group and Arizona State University’s Department of Biomedical Informatics. It exists to improve health care in Arizona through advancing electronic health records.

In late 2011, the organization launched its Vendor Alliance Program to offer strategic guidance and recommendations to REC members. Through the Vendor Alliance Program, the REC screens and approves vendors, but member organizations retain flexibility and choice in their decision making.

OfficeEMR is iSALUS Healthcare’s affordable, flexible EMR and Practice Management solution designed for physicians, practice managers and billing services personnel. It provides a fully-integrated, web-based system with features designed to streamline patient record workflow.

The solution also includes a record management system that generates quality and compliance reports, thus simplifying compliance and regulatory reporting.

The Arizona REC is one of 65 such extension centers nationwide. The PurdueREC selected iSALUS in 2010.
