Bosa Donuts

Doughnuts are a family business for the owners of Bosa Donuts, which opens today at Ray Road and 50th Street in Ahwatukee.

Ken and Lee Yin opened their first doughnut shop, Rainbow Donut, in 1987 and have owned doughnut shops ever since. This new Bosa location in Ahwatukee Foothills is their fifth shop in the Valley. The Yin’s say they’ve been searching for the right location in Ahwatukee for years.

“It’s a very successful business for us,” Ken said.

The secret to their success is fresh ingredients and doughnuts made in store every morning. The shop is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“We’ve been successful because we’re happy to work hard,” Lee said. “That’s what a lot of people like about Bosa.”

The store is hosting its grand opening today, Jan. 3, at 4910 E. Ray Road. For more information on the shop, call (480) 940-8880.
