The Breast Cancer Society has announced a call for entries for educational scholarships to breast cancer survivors and their children. The Empower One Scholarship and Hope Scholarship programs assist those who have been affected by breast cancer with obtaining a college degree or trade certificate.

The Breast Cancer Society is one of the few national breast cancer charities in the United States with a primary focus on providing direct help and assistance to those suffering from breast cancer.

The Breast Cancer Society provides funding for the ongoing educational development of breast cancer survivors, as well as their dependents whose education can be derailed by the family’s battle with breast cancer. The scholarship programs were established in 2012 and have been met with great success.

The organization is eager to continue growth nationwide and expects to grant more scholarships. Anyone wishing to apply or to donate specifically to the scholarship fund may do so by contacting The Breast Cancer Society at (888) 470-7909.
