Rehab Plus has tripled in size in just four years in Ahwatukee Foothills. Its new upgraded location has 9,000 square feet of training and physical therapy space.

“We were limited in 3,000-square-foot space with the type of training and sports preparation we could provide for kids and student athletes,” said John Naumann of Rehab Plus. “That’s why we expanded to this new location to be able to provide that.”

Rehab Plus originated in Phoenix and the owners have always had a vision of providing complete physical therapy not just for those recovering from a surgery or illness, but also for athletes at all levels to be able to perfect their skills and reach a maximum level of mobility. They provide physical therapy and also welcome kids as young as 8 to come in and receive sports training. Their team of trainers and physical therapists has programs to help athletes even on a professional level. Rehab Plus has nutritional counselors and sports psychologists to cover all angles of sports training.

The new Rehab Plus location, at 4730 E. Warner Road, Suite 10, has space for an indoor field, a complete gym, and even classrooms on the second floor for pilates and yoga.

Owner Keith Pritchette opened the Ahwatukee Foothills location in 2009 and right away the company won several “Best Of” awards from Ahwatukee Foothills News voters, including being voted “Best New Business.” In 2012 the company won third place for Ahwatukee’s “Best Physical Therapy/Rehab.”

“‘Best Of’ created a lot of exposure for us,” Naumann said. “We’ve got very loyal clients and patients that workout with us that were willing to make sure we were nominated as one of the best and I think that has really helped us gain some exposure over the years.”

Naumann said the company has been successful in Ahwatukee because they strive to create a family-friendly environment. In the future, they hope to attract more families and athletes of all ages for their training programs.
