The East Valley Aviation and Aerospace Alliance (EVAAA) has created the first East Valley Aviation and Aerospace Academy. The academy is a program created for community leaders interested in knowing more about the importance and impact of the aviation and aerospace industries in the East Valley.

The inaugural class includes six classes with topics including overview of East Valley Airports, aviation and aerospace education, presentations from aviation and aerospace businesses, tour of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, and much more.

Possible tours of several businesses will be offered including Boeing, MD Helicopters, KC135 orientation Flight and Helicopter Training School.

The monthly classes begin in November and last until April. Applications are now being accepted for the 2011-2012 Academy. For more information, visit www.evaaa.org.
