The perfect place to find purses of all shapes, sizes and price points is coming to the Casa Paloma shopping center near Ahwatukee at the end of this month.
Pandora’s Purse will be a small eclectic boutique, located next to AJ’s Fine Food on Ray Road. The shop will have purses from under $50 to designer bags worth hundreds.
Owner Rose Krison spent years working for Carried Away in Casa Paloma. That high-end boutique closed its location to focus more on events, but the experience set up Krison with connections necessary to venture out on her own.
Pandora’s Purse will have bags and purses from Bloomingdales, Macy’s and suppliers in Los Angeles. Shoppers will be able to find trendy bags for any budget.
“There’s definitely a purse for everyone,” Krison said. “From working at Carried Away I saw so many women come in and say they wanted a purse for only $50 and no more than that. We didn’t have that price point. Here, I have hundreds of those and I can order purses in. I’ll also carry the high-end designer bags. I just want people to know that I have a wide range of purses for everyone.”
Along with purses Krison plans to carry her own jewelry line, Let Freedom, which she designed with business partner, Dina Pratt. The line benefits Street Light USA and other organizations that fight against child prostitution.
Pandora’s Purse will also have jewelry from other local designers and Krison hopes to one day add shoes to her offerings.
Krison is also offering her customers a trade-in option. Shoppers can bring in several older purses in good condition and trade them for one new purse. Often trades can be done with no additional cost for the customer.
Pandora’s Purse, 7131 W. Ray Road, will be located in Casa Paloma on the Chandler side of Interstate 10.
