Diane Abraham has been named vice president of philanthropy for Dignity Health Arizona. She was previously president of Dignity Health Foundation East Valley, a nonprofit foundation that raises funds for Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

In her new position, Abraham will lead strategic development and collaboration for the three Dignity Health Arizona foundations: Barrow Neurological Foundation, Dignity Health Foundation East Valley and St. Joseph’s Foundation.

During her 19 months as president of Dignity Health East Valley Foundation, Abraham restructured the foundation and significantly increased foundation revenue.

Abraham has a doctorate in leadership studies from Marian University in Wisconsin and a master’s in business administration and bachelor’s in economics from the University of Wisconsin. Her diverse experience includes 15 years in fundraising leadership.
