Xpress Automotive is off to a good start after setting up shop May 25 in Ahwatukee Foothills.
The family-owned business replaced Grease Monkey, at 15629 S. Desert Foothills Pkwy., and co-owners Paul Owens and Jim Patasin hope to build off the success of their original location in Gilbert, 1436 N. Higley Road.
“We opened this location to be in a tighter community,” Owens said. “We have had good business (so far).”
Owens says Xpress Automotive gives people another option when their car needs work.
“We are a complete car care center with automotive repair,” he said, adding that the smaller community feel of Ahwatukee provided motivation to open the new location.
