Franchise owners Val Hill and Jared Lee of Chandler, owners of nine Valley Sport Clips men’s and boys’ hair cutting salons – including stores in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Queen Creek – were named the parent company’s national franchisees of the year.

The honor – naming Hill and Lee “Team Leaders of the Year” – was handed out last week in Orlando as part of the “National Huddle” for Sport Clips, a leading mens’ and boys’ hair care provider with more than 880 stores in 39 states.

Hill and Lee were runners-up for the top honor a year ago.

“The secret is making sure that every client has a great experience when he walks in the door,” Hill said, according to a press release.

The nine stores owned by Hill and Lee are located in Avondale, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Mesa, Queen Creek, and Surprise.
