Q: What type of business services do you provide?

A: As a financial advisor I help individuals achieve their serious, long-term financial goals by understanding their needs and implementing tailored solutions. My goal is to provide a diverse approach that will perform well while managing risk.

Q: What are some exciting things happening in your business?

A: In my line of business, every day is exciting, for you never know what is going to happen in the market. I do love encouraging young investors to plan for their investment future and do educate all my clients on their investments so they feel they are part of the process. It is really exciting when a client really understands and challenges me along the way and we become a partnership in their financial endeavors.

Q: What are your special interests?

A: Continuous learning and being a facilitator who encourages people to make their communities better. I like being a part of Kiwanis, Toastmasters, Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce, Foothills Women’s Club of Ahwatukee and Ahwatukee Community Network.

Q: What else would you like people to know about you or your business?

A: I grew up in the Northwest and met my husband of 45 years when he was attending Whitman Collage in Walla Walla, Wa. We have lived in Arizona since 1965 and have two grown children and four grandchildren, all born and raised here in Maricopa County.

We moved to Ahwatukee Foothills when I moved into the Edward Jones office on Desert Foothills Parkway. When I am out talking to people about my business the first question usually asked is, “Where do you live?” They want to know that I am a part of their community, which I certainly am. I live 2 miles from my office, and I am here to stay.
