David J. Harowitz, P.C. will teach “Veterans Pension Benefits 101” on April 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 7517 S. McClintock Drive, Suite 107, in Tempe.
The suite is located at the northeast corner of McClintock Drive and Elliot Road, behind the Auto Zone.
The Veterans’ Administration offers a cash “pension” for certain service men and women who pass a means test and medical qualification. The pension benefit is a reimbursement of medical expenses and is, therefore, not taxable income to the veteran.
