Children in The Foothills wanted to help the survivors of Haiti's earthquake, so they are preparing to operate a lemonade stand Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., across from Desert Vista Park at 10th Street and Marketplace Way.

"My son Logan came up with the idea," said Pamela Bridge.

The stand will include lemonade and homemade cookies that the children are preparing.

Bridge said that Motorola will match the money raised by the children, which will go to help the survivors of Tuesday's devastating earthquake in Haiti.
