Armed postal inspectors, along with Secret Service agents, served a search warrant early Thursday morning on an Ahwatukee Foothills home in the 1600 block of East Windsong Drive.

“Items were taken from the residence, but we can’t say what,” said Patricia Armstrong, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

No one was arrested, and all Armstrong would say is that the investigation involves incorrect use of postage, which can include anything from use of  stolen stamps to forgery.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” which began last year, Armstrong said.
