An Ahwatukee Foothills neurosurgeon was robbed at gunpoint Monday night and police need your help in finding the suspects, a man and a woman.
According to Sgt. Bryant Rockwood, the victim exited Fry's supermarket in the 3600 block of East Ray Road around 9 p.m. April 19 when a 30-40 year old woman approached asking directions. As they were speaking she pulled a gun and walked him back to his Ford F-150 pickup truck where her accomplice was waiting.
Rockwood said the woman then forced the man to drive around at gunpoint, while the accomplice followed in a second vehicle.
“They drove around until they found a dark spot,” said Rockwood, and robbed the man of a laptop, iPhone, watch and a handgun.
The couple them threw the victim’s car keys into the bushes and fled in their vehicle, leaving him and his pickup truck behind.
The gunman was described as having tattoos on both arms and wearing a blue bandanna. The woman was between 30-40. Both were white and both were armed’
