Neighborhood: Cabrillo Canyon
Cabrillo Canyon is a community of approximately 195 homes located in the Foothills. It's entrances are S. 16th Way and S. 19th Way on the north side of Chandler Blvd. between S. 24th St. and Desert Foothills Pkwy. Just as it's namesake would suggest, this neighborhood is nestled in a Foothills canyon allowing for great views from almost anywhere and many homes back the hills. Although most houses were built by the same developer in the late-80s and early-90s, many have been remodeled and show each owners individual style. Cabrillo Canyon, just like all of Ahwatukee, lies within the Kyrene School District and Tempe Union High School District. Almost all homes are in the Kyrene de Los Cerritos Elementary School and Kyrene Altadena Middle School boundaries and all homes are within the Desert Vista High School boundaries.
