Former Mountain Mountain Pointe quarterback Antonio Hinojosa helped the Pride to the two straight championship games, including the school's first championship in 2013, after transferring from Marcos de Niza.

Under the new ruling put forth by the AIA Hinojosa would have have had to sitout the first five games of his junior year.
