Water drive
Ahwatukee Foothills Rotary Club members Rick DePonte (left) and Fred Chalfin were outside Bashas� on Saturday, Oct. 22 collecting donations for the club�s water drive. In the inaugural year of the drive last year, they collected enough to purchase and donate over 5,200 bottles to the Phoenix Rescue Mission. Club members were outside the story from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday while people came up and donated either cases of water or cash to be used to purchase more.
