Let's Eat: Keegan's Grill

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

One local grill is so grateful for its guests that it decorates its walls with pictures of them.

Keegan's, located at 4723 E. Ray Road, strives to be a place where friends, family and neighbors can gather and enjoy a welcoming environment with quality homemade food.

"We really emphasize consistency," owner Paul Burdick said. "We're not a chain, just set ourselves apart from the chain with great service."

Some of the restaurant's most popular and unique items include its grilled spicy wings, open-faced steak sandwiches, barbecue baby-back ribs and a variety of salads. In addition, Keegan's offers "Life Style" selections featuring salmon, roasted chicken, filet and salads, all of which are prepared with lower salt, sugar and carbohydrate consumption in mind.

The grill offers happy hour specials Monday through Friday. Drink specials run from 3 to 7 p.m. and half-priced appetizers are offered from 3 to 6:30 p.m.

For Keegan's, St. Patrick's Day was a day-long celebration. Since it opened at 11 a.m., the place was filled with people drinking green beer and eating corned beef and cabbage, Burdick said.

WHO Cares About Swine Flu
The World Health Organization has declared its first influenza pandemic in 40 years. Does this concern you?
I'm stocking up on hand sanitizer and Theraflu as we speak.
I'm not that concerned. Swine flu doesn't seem much more deadly than the regular flu.
Is swine flu still a thing?
