Robert Carroll will perform live with vocals and acoustic guitar from 8 to 10 p.m. tonight, May 9, at Dolce Luna, Italian Cafe and Gelato Bar, 4647 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 10. This will be Carroll's last performance as he is graduating from Desert Vista High School and will be leaving to attend Brigham Young University, starting with the summer semester.
Jacob Tyler Lucas will perform live classic acoustic guitar from 7 to 9 p.m. every Thursday. Lucas attended Desert Vista and graduated from the Metropolitan Arts Institute. He is currently a music major at Mesa Community College, studying classical guitar.

Near: Due to popularity, Francisco adds midnight show
Comedian, actor, impressionist and sound effect extraordinaire Pablo Francisco will perform this weekend at the Tempe Improv, 930 E. University Drive, Tempe.
Original show times were 8 and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday, but due to popular demand, a Saturday midnight show has been added, as well.
When Pablo Francisco jolts himself onto the stage, his unmatched energy and creativity come forth like a tornado, bringing his audiences to their feet with boisterous laughter and applause. His own critically acclaimed one-hour special on Comedy Central, titled OUCH!, continues to stay on the network's Top 5 most requested list.
