Let's Eat: Booster Juice holds grand opening July 26
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Try your own ‘truly healthy smoothie’ for free
To celebrate its grand opening July 26, smoothie bar Booster Juice will be having a free smoothie day. Any type. Any size.
Owner Bryce Weber, who has four other locations in the Valley, opened the Ahwatukee Foothills location at Lakeside Plaza, 3961 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 100, about two weeks ago.

First, there are no refined sugars in its products. As a result, the smoothie has an average of 50 to 100 fewer calories than that of competitors. Booster Juice also uses all-natural fruit sorbet, freshly made yogurt, a large selection of fresh juices and less ice.
"The product really stands alone," Weber said.
In addition to smoothies, Booster Juice also offers a variety of juices, hot drinks and Shakers. These are small shots of highly nutritious drinks such as wheatgrass, açai or matcha green tea, served just the way James Bond likes it - shaken, not stirred.
They also serve food that can be paired with a smoothie at a combo value. Items on the menu include quesadillas, chicken or vegetarian paninis, tuna wraps, Greek vegetarian wraps and an egg scrambler wrap.
Ultimately, Weber said his goal for Booster Juice is to become "the community's juice and smoothie bar" through sponsorships and programs, such as school fundraisers.
Last year, Weber's Booster Juice location on Baseline Road near 24th Street raised more than $50,000 for the Roosevelt School District, and hopes to do the same this year for the Kyrene and Tempe Union High School districts.
Weber plans to sell his products at school events, carnivals, dances and athletic events. The Booster Street Team can also be found at local parks and businesses, handing out empty cups good for one free smoothie.
"We're willing to donate smoothies just to get our product out to the public," Weber said.
