Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Ahwatukee's Sports Den is closing its doors -- forever.

The restaurant, located at 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard, will close for the last time on Sept. 22.

Management is opening Big Daddy's Smokehouse Sports Grill in its place. According to a press release, it will have "TVs everywhere" and specialize in smoked meats.

The menu will feature a Big Daddy Burger, a 10-ounces of pattied beef, and Chipolte Cream Cheese Bacon Wrapped Shrimp as an appetizer.

Big Daddy's will likely be open starting Oct. 1.
