One of the first things people notice about you are your hands, and well-groomed nails can really enhance your appearance.

When you want to make a good impression, details matter. Your hands say a lot about you and it's important that people are getting the right message.

Getting manicures every two weeks will keep your nails in top condition, but if you're a nail biter or just wish your polish would last longer, try a gel manicure. The gel used in this type of manicure is a type of flexible acrylic that hardens under a UV light. It is a polish alternative that is painted directly on your natural nail. The gel comes in many colors (including solid glitter), has a glossy finish and, best of all, it lasts longer than nail polish.

A gel manicure will protect your nails from biting, picking and chipping. It does not enhance the length of your nails, but it is a great option if you want your nails to grow. The result is a more natural looking nail. As your nails begin to grow, the nail specialist will remove the old gel and apply a fresh coat.

Don't forget about your toes! A gel pedicure will keep your toes looking great for up to four weeks.
